Workouts not showing
If a workout has finished but is not appearing there are a few common causes.
The workout is under 5 minutes
Cadence Fuel filters out sessions shorter than 5 minutes. This is intentional — it keeps short warmups and accidental recordings out of your training load calculation. If the session was less than 5 minutes, it will not appear.
The app needs a refresh
Cadence Fuel syncs when you open it. If you finished a workout and went straight back in without closing the app, it may not have refreshed yet. Close the app fully and reopen it to trigger a new sync.
The workout has not reached Apple Health yet
If you use Apple Health, Cadence Fuel can only see a workout once your device has already synced it to the Health app. Open Apple Health and check whether the session appears there first. If it does not, the issue is with your device's sync — not Cadence Fuel. This is common with Garmin devices, which sync via the Garmin Connect app when your phone is nearby.
There is a delay from your integration
Strava, Wahoo, and Intervals.icu can take a few minutes to process a completed activity. Wait a few minutes after your session finishes, then open the app again.
You are on the wrong date
Cadence Fuel always opens on today's date. If the workout was recorded just after midnight, or your device's clock is slightly out of sync, the session may have landed on a different day. Check surrounding dates by swiping left or right on the calendar.
Permissions need to be checked
If you use Apple Health and workouts have never appeared, Cadence Fuel may not have been granted the correct access. Go to Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Cadence Fuel and make sure Workouts are switched on for reading.
