Intergrations not syncing

If your Strava, Wahoo, or Intervals.icu connection is not pulling data into Cadence Fuel, here is what to check for each.

Strava

There is a short delay after a workout finishes. Strava processes activities before they become available via the API. Wait a few minutes, then close and reopen the app.

The connection may have expired. Strava OAuth tokens expire if the app has not been opened for a while. Go to Profile > My Connections, disconnect Strava, and reconnect. The process takes under a minute.

Check the activity is actually on Strava. If the workout did not sync from your device to Strava, Cadence Fuel has nothing to pull. Open Strava and confirm the activity is there first.

Wahoo

Planned sessions come from Wahoo SYSTM. If you use Wahoo SYSTM for structured training, planned sessions sync to your Cadence Fuel dashboard. If you only use a Wahoo head unit without SYSTM, planned sessions will not appear — but completed activities still sync.

The connection may need refreshing. Go to Profile > My Connections, disconnect Wahoo, and reconnect. This refreshes the OAuth token and re-establishes the sync.

FTP and weight sync on connection. If your FTP or weight in Cadence Fuel does not match Wahoo, reconnecting will re-pull your latest values.

Intervals.icu

Planned and completed sessions both sync. Intervals.icu is the only integration that sends planned sessions ahead of time — your targets update before the session starts. If planned sessions are not appearing, check that activities are actually scheduled in Intervals.icu.

The connection may have expired. Go to Profile > My Connections, disconnect Intervals.icu, and reconnect. You will be taken through the Intervals.icu authorisation screen again.

Athlete ID must be set correctly. During the Intervals.icu connection, Cadence Fuel links to your specific athlete profile. If you have multiple Intervals.icu accounts, make sure you are authorising the correct one.

General checks for all integrations

  • Open the app after reconnecting — syncing happens on launch, not in the background

  • If you use Apple Health alongside a direct integration, the same workout may appear twice if deduplication fails. Check My Connections and consider whether you need both for the same data source

  • If the issue persists after reconnecting, sign out of Cadence Fuel and sign back in to force a full re-sync

If you have done all these and it still isn't working please submit a support ticket and our team will look into it.
